Looking for ways to shave dollars from your weekly shopping bill this year?

I found it did not seem significant items that are often added in the long term.

Indeed, we have to buy staple foods such as protein, fresh vegetables, fruit, eggs, and milk. But after seeing the grocery bill, I have noticed I spent an amazing amount of money on things like dressing jerks, frozen dough, snack bar, and a seasoning packet of things I could have easily made with ingredients that are usually already seated in my pantry.

Taco seasoning is a perfect example of just such a burden. A single package of taco seasoning is usually around one dollar.

Just a dollar. It did not seem like the Royal like it. However, if you consider that the cost to about 2 tablespoons of seasoning, made of spices that you might already have in your kitchen, it seems pointless. This pretty place one to three dollar item in your cart and your grocery bill can shoot in a hurry.

But there are other reasons to make your own taco seasoning.

You can:

Easily adjust the taste fit your family's tastes and preferences of heat.
Creating large and small batches as needed.
Cut out all additives, preservatives, and dyes.
Reducing sodium.
Plus, homemade taco seasoning just tastes better than store-bought. Ready to try it?

It's really simple. Just mix the chili powder, ground cumin, paprika, crushed red chili pepper, onion powder, garlic powder, oregano, salt and black pepper. Then taste and add more crushed red pepper and salt as desired.

Recipe provided roughly equivalent brand with a store-bought package taco seasoning single. If you want to make a larger batch to scoop up and use at will, simply multiply the recipe required. (Measurement of large batches provided will give approximately the same amount of seasoning in 6 package purchased in a store.)

Use homemade taco seasoning at:

soup
salad dressing
dips
as rub chicken, pork or beef
the kebab
and of course, all sorts of zesty Mexican cuisine!
